Amanda Dionne Hugon was born in Chilliwack, B.C. January 15th, 1982. She is a Canadian West Coast Artist and she is a recent graduate from the First Nations Fine Arts program at the Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art.
Hugon has received honorary mention for the NWCC Presidents choice award in 2016 and 2017.
Amanda is actively involved in her community, She is a 6 year leader with Terrace Scouts of Canada, an active art member at the Terrace Art Gallery and has taken part in many community events and fundraisers. Hugon currently lives in Terrace and has been since 1993, she designs and creates new pieces in her cozy bungalow that sits parallel to the Skeena River. Amanda feels that art is truly meant to heal the soul.
