My name is Carissa Waugh, my Northern Tutchone name is Ékè Éwe after my great-grandma Emma Shorty. I am Kwanlin Dün First Nation belonging to the crow clan. My parents are Charlene and Charles Waugh, and my grandparents are the late Linda and Allan Waugh. My life passions include reconnecting to my culture through my beadwork, and Climate Action through the Yukon First Nation Climate Action Fellowship that I’m a part of.
