Northstarr is an underground Hip Hop duo hailing from Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, composed of the spirited emcees Mobb Diggity and Adrian the Architect. With the notion of freeing one’s style in mind, their goal is to revive the culture and essence of Hip Hop. By reasserting the foundational teachings of its origins, they hope to inspire common purpose and cultivate a collective identity. Known for their raw lyrical prowess and unique sound, Northstarr brings a refined perspective to the Hip Hop scene with introspective storytelling, blending the old school swagger and modern edge. Influenced directly by the legendary sounds of Black Star, Gang Starr, KRS-One, Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, as well as the modern stylings of J. Cole, Lil Yachty and Joey Bada$$. Their music captures the welfare and struggles of life in the North, earning them a dedicated following among Hip Hop enthusiasts who appreciate authenticity and innovation.
