For generations, First Nations people have been sharing their traditional skills and knowledge with one another. The Festival workshop series is an opportunity for our participating artists to share this skill and creativity with you. Become inspired as you take part in one or more hands on workshops exploring disciplines such as wood carving, painting, beading, moose hair tufting, traditional sewing, stained glass, birch bark basket, bentwood box and jewellery making, and much more. Beginner to advanced workshops are offered, running 4-8 hours in length.
Registration will open in the summer of 2023. Stay tuned!
Workshop registration will open on Friday, June 9th, 2023 at 9am. Watch here for workshop listings and links to register.
In the meantime, feel free to look at previous programs on the Festival Info page to see what to expect.
