For generations, First Nations people have been sharing their traditional skills and knowledge with one another. The Festival workshop series is an opportunity for our participating artists to share this skill and creativity with you. Become inspired as you take part in one or more hands on workshops exploring disciplines such as wood carving, painting, beading, moose hair tufting, traditional sewing, stained glass, birch bark basket, bentwood box and jewellery making, and much more. Beginner to advanced workshops are offered, running 4-8 hours in length.
Workshop registration is now open!
Participating artists wanting to register using their Artist Ticket must register through the Workshops Coordinator at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and they will be advised what spots are still open.
Workshop registration will open later this year.
In the meantime, feel free to look at previous programs on the Festival Info page to see what to expect.
