I am a father, community member, and artist focused on sharing one perspective on what it means to be an indigenous person to turtle island. My primary form of expression is fashion with my streetwear brand, Mobilize Waskawewin, additional to this I have also created art in mural and digital form in my home community of amiskwaciwaskahikan. Along my journey I have been blessed to share space in some of the biggest Indigenous Fashion Shows across turtle island such as Indigenous Fashion Arts (Toronto), Vancouver Indigenous Fashion Week, and the Sante Fe Indian Market Fashion show to name a few. As a designer I have also worked on big scale events, most recently as the creative lead for the Big Air World Cup of Snowboarding. I have also worked with Hockey Canada, Canada Skateboard, Lululemon, and the Toronto Raptors.
My clothing brand has also been featured in Vogue, Fashion Canada, Complex, Elle, and Amazon Designer Spotlight.
My mission is to follow my teachings and spread love and joy through art in all the spaces I am welcomed. As a father I am focused on created an empowered next generation who will bring so much healing and change to our society. I see my journey to be the one to kick down a few doors for our youth and watch them run through and take everything we dream of to new heights!
