I am Theresa Blackjack, I am northern tutchone, crow clan from Carmacks, Yukon. I was born in mayo and raised up in Pelly Crossing and Carmacks. I am a seamstress, love teaching younger generations and who want to learn my many talents, I made parkas, Anorak, dream-catchers, earrings, purse, card holders, crochet, beading on loom, acrylic painting, drum making, dry meat making, mukluk, slippers, duffel mitts, pack-sack, baby belt, watch band, hair barrettes, pony beads key chains, baby booties, baby vest, baby slippers, adult vest, many more. I took YFNAP, TIOWP, Voices Influencing change, Voices 2.0, peer-support mentor, Positive Choices,positive voices, positive choices 3 day follow-up, YAWC sewing Instructor, Cornerstone workshop (loom and pony beads), on going teaching and learning. I love teaching my talents to young children to elders that didn’t have time to learn there sewing . I am in my first year in native language. I want to teach sewing and language in my community and who ever want my crafty knowledge. positive changes is Awesome…
